Last Christmas in England

Well it is certainly feeling like Christmas here, lots of snow and very cold weather. It will be very different next year, currently the temperature in Malawi is in the high 20's. Things are certainly moving closer now, I have moved out of the house and am renting a room from a friend now, and have delivered boxes to many different parts of the UK. Thank you everyone for letting me borrow your loft space. One of the difficulties about packing everything up and putting it into storage is not knowing what you will need - have since discovered that I had very cleverly packed up all my hats and scarves, and stored them further most afield. Fortunately had still got a pair of gloves, but must admit my ski jacket would have been very useful as well. Ah well. Have nearly finished all the vaccinations now, no. 3 of rabies to have in the new year and meningitis, one in each arm. Then all done. Christmas seems to have come up really quickly and have not had time for it at all. Had a 2 hour slot to do Christmas shopping this year. Must plan better in future.
In the New Year should find out about flight details and which day we actually fly. Arrival date is set for 7th Feb. That will make it all feel so much more real.
Anyway hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
